You are solo developer or team? and so nice graphics so smooth <3

Thanks! I made The Librarian solo, but we're currently a tiny team of two: Susanna and I :)

You should probably delist it as a Mac game if it isn't even compatible with an update from 5 years ago now.

Or at least make it much more obvious in the description.

Any chance of a Linux port?

Not for now, sorry! :(

try to use Wine. wine helped me a lot

Thanks, I generally do, but it is better to have a native version, especially when the game engine readily supports it.

Love how the character puts his clothes on

<3<3

Loved how you integrated the pixel art into 3d.

Thank you! <3<3

A cool point and click horror game with fun puzzles and a great ambiance. Without a doubt, a must play! I love the style and artwork.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

I've always had fun with your games and this one is no exception. It's very cute with its pixelated art style and loving how's it's a point-and-click games like your other works. Beautiful piece of art in my opinion. Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you for your kind words and for your support!! <3<3

Your game was astounding the puzzles and the art style, GOSH!! Beauty itself.

It left a lot of unanswered questions, but it was a good game of suspense in the end.

Hey I'd love to play on my mac the game looks amazing . Unfortunately when I tired to open it an error message popped up. If you could offer me some trouble shooting advice I'd really appreciate it <3 More information follows:

Ver I downloaded:TheLibrarian_Mac.zip

Model & software: MacBook Air, version 11.4

Pop up:

“Mac” needs to be updated.

The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

When clicking the learn more option of the pop up  it directs you to https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208436

Hi there!

Thank you for the detailed report and sorry for the issue. Unfortunately, the game is currently incompatible with Catalina and later MacOS versions.

Some players have been able to play it via Wine (a Windows emulation software for Mac), so it might be worth a try.

In any case, if you purchased the game and want me to refund it, send me a line to support @ octavinavarro.com and we'll start the process.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

It's absolutely ok! I didn't purchase the game so no worries :) I'll try the emulator-thank you!!

the game looks absolutely amazing, and the vibes everything gives off are super cool! 10/10 would recommend to play- puzzles are fun yet not too challenging, and was a good experience :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed! <3

I loved the pixel art style and the puzzles were not too hard or easy. Only criticism would be the ending felt a little abrupt. but still well worth a play

My gameplay

Thank you for playing it! :)

I'm a librarian, and I played this on stream. Really fun game! And sorry for immediately mispronouncing your name like a DINGUS.

Thank you for the video. It was lovely! :)

Great stuff right here. I feel like this is heading towards something more. Love the art and the music.  Keep up the good work!

I have my gameplay right here

<3<3

I recommend to play the game then watch the video to avoid spoilers!!!

I really enjoyed the game, I think the 2d concept have been abandoned for a while and to add the horror element to it made it even better. The puzzles are fun and everything you do matters. Trying to figure things out and put things together was really good i just hoped the game was longer with several locations to discover. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME. Try it it's good stuff.

Thank you for your beautiful review :) !!

This game is amazing, I love the beautiful graphics! I just wish it was longer tho. Either way, great game!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Beautiful Game!

I did a short video on this game just tonight, it was so fun to play. My only complaint: it's too short since I wished I could stay in this beautiful world longer! The ambiance and music are so fitting to the atmosphere the game created. Thank you for making this game!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

I liked the title because of the movies The Librarians and I tried this game to see how it is. It was scary in the beginning but it was  cool :D

<3<3

superb pixel art. great lighting. the puzzles were neat and creative. good animation. perfect little point and click adventure

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! :)

Is it normal for the game to turn black when I go up the stairs in the library to the 3rd floor?

omg i love the artwork and the music in this game!

Thank you!! <3

The game was absolutely stunning!!
Although I really wanted it to be longer still Thank you for the amazing game :))

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

I can translate your game into Spanish, if you wish.

Thanks Claudia for your offer, but The Librarian Special Edition is already localized into spanish  :)

Oh,  I did not see the paid version.

My Good... The moments I played Midnight Scenes while ago... I know this person will continue to create something amazing!! I love all about this both games ( This game & The Supper)!! But I have one question... I kinda understand the storyline for the supper but I quite not understand for the librarian storyline... But it still a good game!! ✊✊

Continue Making Games My man!!

Love from Malaysia.

Thank you!! I'm glad you liked them! <3

This game is really pretty! I've played a game from you before. I played The Supper, and let me say, what I love the most is the art style. What a beautiful pixel art this game has. The story is very subtle and short, but has enough details to make me want a full game based on this universe. I'm definitely going to look for more games from you in the future!

Please, consider making a full game on this universe? It was really cool!

There is so many things wrong in that library that apparently the librarian thinks are OK :).  I liked the atmosphere a lot and was glad to not get stuck anywhere.

However, i think sometimes i would like to have a way to highlight where are the object i can grab/use because at times i had the feeling that i was pixel hunting “just in case”.

Oh, and of course the graphics and the music where outstanding.

Thank you for that beautiful game.

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the suggestions!
