Great game, loved the story!

I was blown away by how The Supper delivers a masterclass in dark narrative payoff, wrapping a macabre story of grief and revenge inside a charmingly stylized point-and-click wrapper. Watching the gameplay unfold, the gradual realization of what is actually being prepared—and why—makes for an unforgettable 20-minute experience.

You watch Miss Appleton, an elderly tavern owner guided by a mysterious inner voice, prepare specific dishes for three sinister patrons. The moment-to-moment gameplay follows classic point-and-click logic: searching rooms, combining inventory items, and solving environmental puzzles to gather ingredients like a wild pigeon, a swordfish tail, and a "special sauce."

The standout strength is how gracefully the game handles its tone. The cozy pixel art and acoustic soundtrack feel inviting at first, which makes the dark turn into poisonings, meat grinders, and severed limbs hit with maximum impact. Seeing how Miss Appleton forges a "plump human hand" using gelatin and a stolen tongue was a absolute highlight of morbid problem-solving. The final story twist—revealing who was inside the chest and why these acts were carried out—gives the entire revenge plot real emotional weight rather than relying on pure shock value.

On the downside, the puzzle logic can feel slightly obscure early on. The player got stuck for several minutes near the start trying to figure out how to light the tavern candles with fire tongs, which dragged down the opening pacing. Once the core loop opened up, however, the momentum recovered quickly.

A short, beautifully crafted bite-sized thriller perfect for fans of dark point-and-click adventures like Fran Bow or Rusty Lake. I highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates tight narrative design and macabre humor.

I LOVED this game! The art, the soundtrack, the story, the puzzles and let me tell you, that ending annihilated me. It was just the right amount of emotion to smack me right in the feels. 10/10, will be playing the sequel ASAP <3

This was a short but amazing game. I really hope Ms. Appleton will be able to live a peaceful life now.
