Midnight Scenes Ep.1: The Highway (Special Edition)

Hey dev, I enjoyed this old style looking for things to complete the puzzle, the only problem I have with it, is that it's too short.

 I made a video on it to fit the theme of the VHS vibe. Hope anyone who sees this enjoys!

Really good for such a small game, well done! This was perfect for me, as I love pixel art, horror stories and overall creepiness and easy-ish puzzles xD I loved everything, although it would be nice to have at least a tiny tutorial to explain the controls. I want to make a game myself and this inspired me a lot. Thank you!

This was an awesome little game to play! Controls were super simple and easy to figure out. Puzzles were pretty easy (Although I'm an idiot and it took me a while) Jump scare got me, overall it was nice.

This is gonna be a dumb question but what are the controls to using tools you find. I tried to use a hammer to break a lock but it won't let me. I don't THINK I was suppose to find a key.

But I also wanna say that, even though I haven't gotten far I am in LOVE with the aesthetic of the game and can't wait to play as many episodes as possible. 

This was a joy to play! The graphics and music were beautiful and it had a special feeling while playing! Great story and mechanics, can't wait to play episode 2 and nanny! Thank you for putting this in the Ukraine Bundle, recommended it to a friend after I gifted them the Ukraine Bundle 🙏🏻

Aesthetic and theming were brilliant, the idea of a twilight zone esque series of horror games is such a good idea and I love the art design following the aesthetic of the original series, would have loved an even longer piece but will go on to play the others and had a great time, awesome little experience

I covered 4 games in this video and this one was my favorite. Not only for the intriguing storyline and overall spookiness but the little details of the game I found really fucking funny for some reason. like when she would shrug her shoulders, or shock herself on the line, or even get back in her car just to nothing but sit there XD also the fact that you can place the board on the tree but without the hammer it just falls to the ground and she just looks at it XD I LOVE THIS GAME

Awesome little horror game! I quite enjoyed the dark, pixel graphics and the 1950s aesthetic. Very atmospheric stuff. My play-through below, for anyone interested (though I recommend playing it yourself first!):

Ooohh this was awesmome! The narration, the story, the art, and the puzzles were all great. That ending actually spooked me a bit, not gonna lie.  Once I restart my heart, I'll be playing episode 2! (Hope to see more amazing things from you in the future!)

i love midnight scene series.  Music, Story ,Mechanics everything! Goes so perfect.  I wish the second one bit shorter. But i love both of em. Cant wait for new "Survival" midnight scene episode.
