gosh, these games are so good. this one blew my expectations out of the water, i played the first game and this game back to back and wow! the improvement is amazing. this is probably one of my favorite itch.io game series! the visuals, the mechanics- they are all wonderful! but what really was amazing was the writing and music,  the writing was phenomenal for this game! i loved every second of this game, what an amazing work of art. <3

It's my favourite  of the series as well :) Thank you!

I played The Librarian and the first episode of Midnight Scenes, so I had to play this second episode and I really enjoyed it! I love the old school horror feel that this game gives and the puzzles are just right, not frustrating to solve at all. I really like the Midnight Scenes series and I look forward to the third episode if you're working on it. Keep up the great work! I also made a gameplay video for this if anyone is interested in watching. Thank you for your time and have an awesome day! :3

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Very soon we'll release a Special edition of both Midnight Scenes games. Stay tuned!

I'm looking forward to it! :D

A bit too long but good game. While I edit it check this out...tried to make it funny

This game was so awesomeeee!!! please make a third one, PLEASE

Hi, I love this game. This is my gameplay in Spanish!!

I was craving for a good horror game and omg Midnight Scenes is wonderful! The ambience and storytelling are impeccable, would love to pay some dollars if my country's currency wasn't so dead. I really loved it!!

I Personally enjoyed playing Ep.2. great storytelling you guys

I need more I crave these kinds of games !!

Midnight Scenes Ep 2: The Goodbye Note
https://youtu.be/LBwyFuFikyI

Pros and cons are down below) Check out my vid here:

Advantages:

1. I love how this episode is rich story wise even comparing to the first one! I can't imagine what will happen next. Though, I must admit the plot twist was a bit trivial. Still, I enjoyed that a lot!

2. The style is definitely game's strength. It is so visually beautiful and involving. Especially adored last scenes in the episode!

Disadvantages:

1. I suppose that this episode is less scary or creepy than the first one. I would like to see an extremely terrifying episode - can't wait for it!

2. At the start my game completely froze. It can be seen in the video. I had to quit the process in the task manager and restart. It worked fine after that. Also, before opening the curtains the game made an attempt to crash again and froze for a couple of secs but it was fine. I have a strong computer, so I decided to point these bugs out, so they could be fixed if possible.

Overall:

These episodes are amazing! Can't wait for more. It would be super duper cool if all the stories turn out to be connected at the very end in some unexpected way just like in Stories Untold, for example. Overall, I still regard this experience as a 5-star one! Keep going!

Hope my feedback was useful!

I absolutely love the Midnight Scenes such a great concept and done so well!

I love the Midnight Scenes and pretty much everything Octavi has put out on here. Here's a quick video of my experience!

This was a cool episode. Did you name the airline Burgess after the actor Burgess Meredith who starred in four episodes of The Twilight Zone? If so, nice easter egg. I hope to see more Midnight Scenes in the future.

Well spotted! :) Yeah, Mr. Meredith was an icon of the series, and so I wanted to make him this small homage.

4th part

3rd part of librarian.

-Made a Video. (Old Video)

Wow after playing the first one. I had a great time. I knew I had to find the next one to play. I hope you continue to make more short stories like these.

this is a way better than the original both are good. this is a video i did on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ0UCcVfig0&t=16s

I know this is an old game,  and probably pretty hidden on itch.io but after play Midnight Scenes part 1. I was compelled to find more of your games. its such a treat when I get greeted by the old school 2d pixelated artwork. Brings back my child hood! I want more!!!!

3.5/5

I'm hesitant to give it 4 stars due it not fully indulging in it's creepy otherworldly atmosphere, but it's presence does benefit the otherwise well made story.

This game is really great

the story and the artwork is really amazing

So I played through the first game, I could not wait to get to this one and now that I've played it I've got to say I LOVED this entry in the series and can't wait for any future installments. The story is solid and had me immersed in the world which was so lovingly crafted that I can't express how much I adore it. Seriously little details like the curved corners and the plane being held on strings really got me sucked into the old TV show vibe this game was going for. The writing and overall story were fun and I have to stop before I just make an essay because I'm writing this 10 minutes after finishing it.

I didn't fully understand the story but liked it anyway

WHEN IS EPISODE 3 COMING??? I cannot stress how good this series has been. As a massive Twilight Zone fan, you've hit the nail right on the head with Midnight Scenes. I knew the clock would be a puzzle, but my fuddled mind seemed to look too deeply into it! Well done with another brilliant point and clicker!Check out our playthrough @insideurscreen:

A really good game! I like the style. Made a video hope you like it :)

I love this game, I streamed part 1 and 2. I can't for the third part to come out. This is my favorite game on itcho. Everyone in the chat was in into it as well.

Will there be an episode 3?

(+2)

I didn't think you could top the first Midnight Scenes but I was wrong. Once again, very well done!

I did a video on youtube with this and the first midnight scenes. I loved both of them. If you want to see it my name is justicelessmug

I absolutely loved the story. Really hoping to see an episode 3.

Absolutely had to donate after that "word from our sponsor". Great job

Strong improvement to the first episode.

The first one was great, but this one was longer, more story, more character development.

I'm actually excited to see where episode 3 goes.

Can't wait for Episode 3!

The Midnight Scenes series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. As a huge fan of The Twilight Zone, I deeply appreciate the homage paid to the show by Octavi Navarro. While the episodes are a bit short, the atmosphere & pixel style were amazing & the scares were effective. For those wondering, each episode is about 30 mins long. I enjoyed it so much that I played Episode 1 & 2 on my Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/470995658 Thanks so much for the game & keep up the great work!

I kid you not, after completing both episodes it gives me a sense nostalgia since  it reminds me of when I used to watch the Twilight Zone, late at night, with my dad (although I technically wan't allowed to since I was a smol bean lol). Keep up the good work and I'm excited for what's to come in Episode 3 :D

Hello,  I played all three of your games and they are amazing. Loved the pixel art, the tense atmosphere, great sound and overall an amazing story. Thank you for making awesome games like this. Can't wait for episode 3 or is it going to be the same as Half-Life? lol jk :p Best wishes to you.
